Things we wish we hadn’t done…
I mean History,
yeah that’s it, History.
LARPs
Darkness Before the Light – Vampire: The Masquerade (2nd Ed. White Wolf MET)
This was our first venture into the realm of running a LARP.
During the course of this game the number of STs
stayed at 3, but the number of players ranged from 15 at our low point to about
35 at our
Changeling of the
Caribbean – Changeling: The Dreaming (2nd Ed. White Wolf MET)
This was a small game for a group of about 10-12 people. Ghoti ran it using the LARP rules because it was what he
was most familiar with. This was our first test to see how well the system
would work with a smaller group of people. We liked the results so much that ghoti began running it again after a hiatus (we all know
what usually happens when we put a game on hiatus). After a while, ghoti decided he wanted to return to playing, and brought
Courtney up first as a narrator, and then handed the reins over to her as ST. She
ran the game until a couple of months ago, when we decided to call it to a halt…at
least temporarily…
The Ghosts of St.
Louis – Hunter: The Reckoning (2nd Ed. White Wolf MET)
This was a short lived Hunter game that ghoti
ran for a really small group of friends. Really, Hunter: the Reckoning is designed
for groups of 3-10. Our group of 6 did well against the end of the world. Ghoti had a lot of help from Lucci,
Chris, Adolfo, and Jada with this story. This was really the game that caused
us to develop our idea of a production company and get organized enough to
enter into the world of running games at conventions.
Fae’d Away – The Curse of Ayuda (AKA Pirates vs.
Ninjas) – Changeling: the Dreaming (2nd Ed. White Wolf MET)
This was our first convention game, which we ran at GenCon 2005.
Death Springs Eternal –
Vampire: the Masquerade (2nd Ed. White Wolf MET)
This was our second convention game, run at GenCon
2006.
Tabletops
Dead On Arrival – Vampire: The Masquerade
This game is being run by Dolf for fun.
Really, it’s an excuse to break out our dice and just be sick and twisted f*cks on our own time. It’s a Sabbat
game that gets really out of hand on a regular basis. We also use it as a form
of stress relief so that we can take the stress of the real world out in a way
that won’t hurt anyone. To date, this game has seen more explosions, car
wrecks, decapitations, loss of limbs, shotgun wounds,
and theft of vehicles than pretty much any other game we’ve played.
